A Few Engagement Pictures

As some of you know, we went to Orlando for Spring Break. Adam met us down there for a week of Disney Magic! (Check out Alona's blog for the full run down. We have to share posts, since we have the same life!) Since that was most likely the last time that I would get to see Adam before the wedding, we decided to take a few engagement shots. Alona and our friend, Julie took them for us and then Kristal did all of the touch-ups. She sent me a few samples with things she can do. Let me know what you like...what you don't like. We have a tough decision. These are not all of the pictures, so don't be surprised if we pick one that is not posted!
Oh...I also have to compliment Adam. We all know the kind of pictures he "usually" takes. For some reason, he thinks those ridiculous faces are hilarious. He wasn't difficult at all. In fact, he was quite pleasant and cooperative! Thanks Adam...you're the best!

Rodeo Houston

It's that time of year again and a group of us headed to Reliant Stadium for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Oh the fun!

The fun began as we were waiting for the Metro to take us to the rodeo. The Metro (not Nate) is always interesting!

Our little group was the last to arrive. Here is the rest of the gang patiently awaiting our arrival.

Next on my list was FOOD. For some reason, I am always hungry. I love food...it makes me happy!

Dinner was delicious. (Sorry the picture is a little dark.)

We had to capture Lesley and Dave in a "Texas" pose with the horses. Lesley was thrilled! (Congrats to them, by the way. They were married on the 14th of March!)

We met up with more people for the actual rodeo. Here is Julie sporting her shade and hat!

Here is the rest of us...at least most of us. There were a few stragglers. Katherine wins for best hat!

Who knew Julie was a world champion barrell racer?

I have to admit that I love to watch the bull riding. It scares me to death, but I can't keep my eyes off of it! My favorite part of the rodeo, however, was the "muttin' bustin'", where they put the 4-6 year old on the back of a sheep and let em go! It is hilarious!

After the rodeo, the show began. We got to see Rascal Flatts. Most of you might be shocked...but yes, I went to a country concert. It was my first. Every other time I've been to the rodeo, we've gone to the "non-country" concerts. I had to go to at least one before I left Texas!

They put on a good show. I was actually more impressed with the stage than I was with the performers!

As you can tell, Nate and Damien really liked the concert.
