Halloween 2010

It was our ward Halloween party last night. We had a lot of fun and there were a lot of good costumes. I only got pictures of some of them.

Here is my tough and handsome Indiana Jones!

I went as a treasure troll. I liked how it turned out!

I don't know if I should be flattered or sad by the fact that I got asked repeatedly where I got my hair. My only response was..."From my dad"! Apparently I have really good troll hair! To top it off, I won the most clever costume award! Yahoo!

Here is cute little Lincoln the Duck!

The Kents! I loved Mario and Luigi!

Magnum P.I. and his mad scientist son were one of our very favorites!

Arrr....

The middle two in this picture are " A Salt & Battery". I thought it was pretty clever!

Mary and Michael won for best couple... of course!

Rhonda was a Killer Tomato! Loved it!

And...whats a ward party without Moses?!

Big Apples!

Adam and I went to the farmer's market yesterday and one of the vendors was selling the biggest apples I have ever seen. To make it even better...they are Honey Crisp Apples, which are absolutely delicious! Adam wanted to buy a lot, but I assured him that 3 would last us for the rest of the year!

It is hard to tell how big they are, so I put them next to a regular apple. (It is on the smaller side of regular, but still regular!)

We also bought some Asian Pears! Yum!

To Flower or Not to Flower...

I've been in the process of making a baby quilt! I'm very excited about how it is turning out. I have just about completed the top. I just have one question for everyone. The pattern says to put flowers on it. I can't decide if I want them or not. I think they are cute, but I also like it without. Let me know what you think!

No Flowers...

Flowers...

Princesses

Today while I was babysitting we found some of my old dresses. Purple is her favorite color, she just had to try them on!
(I was just informed that it is not babysitting, it is girl sitting!)

She even has the green shoes to match!

This makes me excited to have a little girl.

5 year olds...

I took the little girls that I babysit to the park today. (I have to take advantage of this nice weather while we have it). I was sitting on one of the benches and this little girl came up to me and said, "You know, when your stomach gets big like that it means you are going to have a baby". I was very glad to get that information. I was wondering what was going on!! She proceeded to talk to me for 10 minutes about everything you can think of...until her mother came over and kindly reminded her not to talk to strangers. I like kids!
