I've been in the process of making a baby quilt! I'm very excited about how it is turning out. I have just about completed the top. I just have one question for everyone. The pattern says to put flowers on it. I can't decide if I want them or not. I think they are cute, but I also like it without. Let me know what you think!

This is a DARLING quilt! Nice work! I'm impressed. My vote is for no flowers. I like it just plain better. There's one vote.
Very cute! You are so talented. I am being my normal wishy-washy self and really like them both. Maybe you should make another one so you can have one of each! If I have to vote.. I say yes to the flowers.
You have done a great job. Way to go. My vote. No flowers.
1st- your ticker on the side says 76 days! i can't believe it. your pregnancy is flying by for me. ha.
2nd- good work. when do you have time to make a quilt though? I am TOTALLY impressed.
3rd- what are the flowers made of? Right now I'm leaning toward no flowers. I like plain like hailey. But ... if you really loved flowers and those were not a soft or sturdy material you could always embroider outline of some on. Just a back up plan to your back up plan.
4th- can we hang out some time?
Thanks for all the input so far!
Katie:
1: I can't believe it is only 76 days too! She'll be here before I know it! I'm excited.
2: Sometimes Adam is gone until night time! You know how it goes...
3: The flowers are plain material with heat & bond to attach them. I like your embroider idea too.
4: I'd love to hang out! You name the day!
I can't believe you've already done that much! It looks amazing. I'm usually for the more plain look, but I LOVE those flowers. My vote is FOR flowers! :)
Trish votes for flowers too! :)
Tell Trish thanks and hello!!!
I like the flowers too
I'm impressed! I still haven't made a blanket for Emma. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I vote for the flowers. The fabrics you chose are absolutely adorable!
I would totally add the flowers I think it makes it even more cute. It is also really cute now, but it makes it even more girly. Oh tip if you put the flowers on cute out the inside of the heat and bond and it will make the flowers not so stiff. Does that make sense. At least that's what my mom says to do and she is an amazing seamstress!
Super cute quilt--but I'm not in love with the flowers. However, I'm with Katie R on this one. Using embroidery might be better lookin' and sturdier...
Thanks for the good advice! I wish I didn't have to choose!
Yes flowers. My vote counts for 4because I am the only masculine perspective.
Thanks, Andy! I'm glad to have a masculine perspective! Adam had a very, um, "what ever you like best...both look great" kind of answer!
Didn't I just talk to you last week and you were THINKING about doing a quilt . . . and here it is DONE! - except for the flowers . . . or not? Amazing! I really do love the flowers - but only if you're sure they'll hold up through all that will be required of a well loved blanket!
